FAB – Assa Abloy – Rychnov nad Kněžnou

  • Year of implementation: 2023
  • Country: the Czech Republic
  • Place of realization: Rychnov nad Kněžnou
  • Segment: logistics hall

Description of the solution

ENIKA.CZ has successfully implemented energy-efficient lighting for the production buildings of FAB, a member of the ASSA ABLOY Group. The project involved replacing lighting in more than eight production halls with the aim of reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint. In addition to the system that controls the lighting, a remote meter reading system was also introduced.

Chosen technology

ENIKA.CZ decided to deploy modern LED lighting with control via DALI system. This technology allows continuous regulation of lighting intensity according to current needs and reduces energy consumption by more than a quarter. Thanks to the connection with motion sensors and ambient light sensors, maximum efficiency is achieved and unnecessary lighting is minimized. In total, over 600 luminaires have been replaced, resulting in significant savings and a vastly improved environment for workers.

The implementation also included the deployment of an energy monitoring system that allows real-time monitoring of electricity consumption and analysis of energy efficiency trends. This system provides important information for optimizing lighting operations and identifying potential cost-saving measures.
